Another twofer ;)
Paizo has launched their SECOND Pathfinder 2 Humble Bundle in the 21 months since Pathfinder 2 released in the summer of 2019. Two Humble Bundles of new material for a new RPG system are the signs of failure, not just of market share, but of management. Paizo had its birth by being formed to directly support the 3x edition of Dungeons & Dragons. Will its only way to save itself be to support D&D 5e?
I never used to allow alcohol at the game table. It was a hard and fast rule that I've changed over the years. I discuss why it was and why it is now
Taylor calls in with some observations and uses for hyperlinks in PDFs. Epi wrote in about Gamer Entitlement. His insights are interesting and I respond. Also, S&W Continual Light 2nd is coming in September
I’ve been asked by many over the past few years for a digest-sized edition of the Swords & Wizardry Continual Light rules. With some extra prompting by James Spahn, it is now in the works. In addition to new material by James Spahn, it will have a professional layout and editing, a new color cover we have commissioned to be completed by James Shields, a new logo, new interior art (B&W or color is up for discussion) and possibly more content, depending on feedback from the community. The rules themselves are not changing. This is a new printing with additional material, not a new edition.

Bad Mike & Tenkar are joined by Ben Burns, winner of the NTRPG Con Three Castles Award and currently kickstarting Corsairs of Cthulhu - A Call of Cthulhu® Campaign Book
There was a discussion on Facebook that resulted in many mutual blocks. The discussion centered on hyperlinked PDFs - why for some potential customers, they are a make or break type of deal, and for some publishers they aren't cost-effective to make. I find myself somewhere around milktoast fencesitter ;)
We have a voicemail from Derek, who states that allowing walk-up players to a game table that has hit its "max" at a convention does a disservice to the players that signed up. I respond.
Ken Whitman is looking for folks to audition for roles in his upcoming Fantasy Series Pilot. Non-union actors only. 100 bucks a day. This is the BIG TIME! :)
We got some voicemails in response to the previous episode where I remarked on entitled gamers, and I make it seem like it was only players that could act entitled, but DMs can act entitled too.
Bad Mike & Tenkar are joined by NTRPG Con Special Guest Jason Braun, as they talk art, cons, current events in the gaming industry, and more.
This is a two-fer. Two parts in one episode. Zak was nice enough to have two lawsuits dismissed. We knew about the suit against Gen Con, but the suit against Mie Mealr was a new one.
