Tavern Chat

Rob Kuntz has licensed his published and unpublished works to a publisher, I rant on public shaming in FB groups and we have a blizzard here in NYC, and I may adventure out and record in it tomorrow... stay after the initial sign off, as I had to add something

The Biggus Geekus Podcast joins Tenkar & Glen for a discussion on the OSR, Hexcrawls, D&D, Vancian Magic and much, much more.

I saw my orthopedist yesterday, and he mentioned that when I first visited 2 years ago, I weighed in at 275 pounds - at least 25 pounds more than I would have guessed or admitted. I used to avoid weighing myself, and now, due to CGF, I weigh myself every morning.

I've been asked for years how to create a successful blog, and then I was asked about creating a successful podcast. Recently I was asked how to create a successful podcast. I cover some of the very basics in this episode.

Join Tenkar & Bad Mike as they hex crawl around gaming conventions, the Dragonlance lawsuit, the potential next edition of D&D and more.

Gamehole Con had an update about their plans for a potential convention this fall, pandemic willing. Also, there is a Zine, Black Lung, raising money for Rocky Gardner's cancer fight.

We found out today the reason why the Weis & Hickman Lawsuit against WotC was withdrawn late last year - there was a deal made between the two parties to allow the project to move forward.

Jason calls the show. I attempt to define the OSR and the shades of grey nearly overwhelm me ;)

Its time for another Iron Rations. Join JoetheLawyer & Erik Tenkar as they try to define the OSR. Hint - they probably don't agree with each other, and maybe not even themselves. Then they try to track down the root of "feats" in D&D. Could it be the AD&D 1e Unearthed Arcana?

I found a gourmet blueberry cheesecake on Amazon. Sometimes you need to splurge. You can find virtual religious services online.
