Guest: Bev Pestel 

Beverly Pestel is a retired chemistry professor who returned to her home state of Wisconsin to restore an old farmhouse and become a tree farmer in Richland County. After the 2016 election, she realized that standing on the sidelines politically was a mistake and began researching social and political issues. In 2022, she began writing columns for the small independent newspaper, Valley Sentinel, out of Spring Green.

She’s a member of Economic Equity Now, a nonpartisan group working towards a fairer tax code.
