Along with the standard edition of Midnights, Taylor Swift surprise-dropped another seven songs that make up the 3am tracks, expanding deeper into midnight thoughts. They brought with them the return of Aaron Dessner and a lot of metaphorical lyricism that showcases some of Taylor’s finest work. In this episode we go through them track by track, as well as talk about Hits Different and the two Target-exclusive remixes (the string remix of You’re On Your Own, Kid and the piano remix of Sweet Nothing).
