Just adding my (constructive) 2 cents as to why I believe Chloe bailey's debut album, In Pieces didn't perform as expected.

Chloe x Halle have come a long way since their first album, the kids are alright. They managed to create their own unique sound and have used this to evolve sonically with their current album, ungodly hour. Here we see chloe x halle adopt a more sophisticated and sultry image and sound. There album is layered and draws on influences from other genres outside of R'n'b such as soul. Also they continue to blow us away with there harmonies and etheral quality. Chloe and Halle have shown a slighty different side to their music where they touch on more adult related themes and an emphasis on vulnerabillity. Chloe x Halle's musical growth provides a optimisim for the future of the music industry and their own career.

Fergie was brought to our attention when she joined the black eyed peas back in 2002. She joined during period where the the black eyed peas where transitioning their image and style that was inline with mainstream appeal.`She was a pivotal part of the band, who was the lead singer of many of their most successful singles to date, such as shut up, my humps, boom, boom pow, meet me halfway etc. However there's been questions as to where fergie has been since she was last featured on re -released single and music video called, where is the love back in 2015.
