May 12 Socialist mayors and destroyed cities

Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson has never held a job. When she first got into office, she threatened journalists and others if they dared to report on the Somali-owned fake decor centers, which are raking in millions each year from the taxpayers. There's a problem with socialism. It promises compassion, equity, and justice for the working class. And yet it delivers decay, exodus, broken promises. It's visible anywhere it's been tried. And the problem with driving away the wealth-creators and the job providers, you get rid of those who fund public services. You don't build utopia, you build collapse. Socialism has been a disaster everywhere it's been tried. But one thing I will say, it brings job security to those who vote for a living.

May 11 Abortion is not Health Care

What do you think of when you hear the term "health care?" First thought that comes to my mind is going to the doctor and getting some care because there's something wrong. In fact, this morning I went to the chiropractor because I threw my back out. I got care and I feel better. Why then is abortion called "health care?" What's wrong with the body and what does the care entail? Abortionists refuse to talk about the method by which that health care is delivered. It's just too gruesome. They're taking a living being. But give it enough time, the pre-born baby will become a perfectly normal human being. It's not going to become something else. All it needs is a little bit of time and the mother's umbilical cord. I'm pro-life, so I think everybody should have a chance to live. I'm also a retired English teacher, and in the case of abortion, I don't think we should use the life-affirming words "health care." "Creating Stars" by Steve Adams

I watched a video of a British artist named Jacob Collier.  What immediately struck me was how incredibly talented he was.  Improvising a song with a 50-piece orchestra, including the entire audience and being pitch perfect, was something I had never seen before.  I marveled at the potential this young man has.  He came from a supportive but unconventional family and yet has achieved numerous Grammys while still in his 20’s.

This made me reflect on my own life.  Many of you know we have a rather large adopted family.  As the kids came into our lives, my goal from the very first one was to encourage them to follow their dreams and be the best at that within their means.

Being a parent is such a rewarding gift, but for me, seeing our children all develop in the challenging situations they came from into amazing professional talent was, and IS, amazingly humbling.  I guess that is what parents DO, though.  Our job is to provide the love and structure for our children to find their own greatness.

May 7 Trump fighting Iran and liberal media

Every time I turn on the mainstream media news, I hear how we're losing the war in Iran, how Mr. Trump is destroying this country, and how gasoline is at an all-time high. Actually, it's not an all-time high. When adjusted for inflation, it's not high at all, and compared to Europe, it's cheap. But I noticed that the people who complain that they have no money for food or gas will pay $5 for a high-energy drink, or coffee, or junk food, and they'll go to Chick-fil-A and get a $10 plus combo meal. They carry around a handheld device that has a high monthly rate, and they pay for premium movie channels. The nail salons are full with people who can afford to have their nails done, rather than doing them at home. This isn't about high expenses because of the war. Mr. Trump is fighting our enemies in Iran and at home.

May 6 Democrat grown assassins

The man who wanted to assassinate President Trump, Alan Cole, wasn't born an assassin. How did he get there? In his own words, he says, I experience rage. Thinking about everything this administration has done, and I have to do something about it. Was it Cory Booker's speech? "We need foot soldiers." Or was it Hakeem Jeffries? "We are in an era of maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time." Or maybe it was the communist podcaster, Hassan Piker, who supports assassinations as social murder. Alan Cole said, "I'm not willing to permit a pedophile, a rapist, a traitor, to live any longer." And he believes that blacks are being persecuted. Was he DEI hired? Graduated from college? Made good money? How is he oppressed?

May 5 Liberal Ugly Art and Comedy

Why is it that almost everything the liberals touch becomes coarser, uglier, meaner? From comedy to art, it's all worse. Maybe they're changing things not because they dislike them, because of moral judgment. They don't look at something as unpleasant, but they look at it as wrong or evil, and they respond by making something that they dislike into something ugly and evil. During the Civil War, most of the generals that fought for the South neither owned slaves nor were fighting for slavery. They were fighting against Northern aggression, and many of them were strong Christians. But now, their statues have been taken down, and many of them have been cut up and made into something grotesque. Late-night comedy, which used to be funny, is made into something ugly and grotesque. May 4 SPLC funding racism

Who would fund the following groups? Klu Klux Klan, Unite the Right, National Socialist Movement, Aryan Nations, the American Nazi Party? Who would give them money? The Southern Poverty Law Center. They've given over three million dollars to those people because they get tens of millions in return. In fact, they are getting your tax money. Big money organizations like MGM Studios, JP Morgan Chase give money to the SPLC so the SPLC can fight racism. But the SPLC is funding racism. Now the SPLC has over 732 million dollars in their endowment in offshore accounts. Seems the main hate group the SPLC is funding is itself.
