The Case for Perfection by Steve Adams

Early in my career, I had taken a job as a Research and Design Engineer.  My job was supporting the existing production machines and designing the control systems for all new machines that we were developing.

The head Electrician was an older gentleman whom I liked from the very start.  Dan had a great personality and was very knowledgeable both about the machines we made and the electrical trade.  Each time I would go out to the floor to check things, Dan was ready to nitpick and I enjoyed that banter.

I knew Dan was a perfectionist and I intended to NOT give him a reason to find any flaws in my “pristine” designs.  My “mistakes” were few to begin with, but I doubled down on my efforts anyway.

As my time at that company drew to a close, I presented him with a final machine design.  A few hours later, I went to the floor to see what “mistakes” he found and in keeping with character, he had a HUGE red ink circle over a missed COMMA.

"The Marula Tree" by Steve Adams
I have had occasion to see different customs, exotic animals and plant life that are not native to North America.  One tree that fascinated me was the Marula tree.  They are not tall like redwoods or oaks, but they spread out their crown like an umbrella.  They grow mostly wild in the vast subequatorial plains of Africa and can be seen shading expansive areas of flat land.
The trees bear a fruit that turns yellow when ripe. Once fallen, these fruits delight the local mammals, who apparently love the taste. Local folklore claims the animals get an extra 'Charge' because the fruit ferments right there in their bellies.
Last week, an old friend from South Africa visited and offered me a brand-new bottle of a drink made from the Marula fruit.  I had not had any in over 20 years and we all enjoyed the smooth, chocolaty flavor as we told stories.  Sometime later, though, I began to understand anew exactly WHY the wild animals love that fruit and its aftereffects so well…

Dec 10 Means testing American workers

Do you know the net worth of our members of Congress? More than half are worth more than $2 million, 35 of them are worth $10 million or more, 10 of them are worth $100 million or more. Our nation is heading towards a national debt of $40 trillion. We're paying millions of dollars to the people who are ruining our Social Security. The same congressmen are calling for a means test.  That is, people who don't really need Social Security shouldn't get it, even though they paid into it. Why don't we means test our congressional employees, our federal employees? Why don't we look into their pensions to see if they pass the means test? I mean, they're worth millions, even though they got into Congress worth almost nothing. They're not being means tested. We are.

Dec 9 Covid vaccine tragedies

Far from delivering the promise that the COVID injections were going to give us, (0:05) those injections have left behind a trail of suffering, premature death, cardiac damage, (0:11) blood clotting, aggressive cancers, fertility loss, neurological injuries. (0:17) Yet the core official narrative remains unchanged. (0:20) And the shots are still on the market, still recommended, still advertised, (0:25) still shielded from the liability under what's called the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act.(0:33) So it doesn't matter if those shots are killing us, they're untouchable. (0:37) So now we're finding out that Pfizer's COVID vaccine may have claimed as many American lives (0:43) as World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War combined in far less time.

If you've done much travel in the Third World, you'll know the same thing I know. People constantly come up to you and ask, how can I get into America? The whole Third World would like to live here.  And the problem is, America can't absorb 2 billion people, especially unskilled non-English speakers. For two decades, Democrats and RINOs have refused to uphold our immigration laws, undermining the rule of law and the notion that no one is above the law.  20 million illegal aliens are above the law.  Democrats put them up in luxury hotels run by donor hoteliers, giving them stipends that were larger than Social Security checks and free health care. The American people complained, but to no avail.  The elitists and the media sneer that we are deplorable, racist, and Islamophobic.  But we conservatives stop caring what they call us because we refuse to be defined by people who believe that a man can get pregnant.

Funding the terrorists who kill Christians.

Maybe you've read about the thousands upon thousands of Christians in Nigeria that have been killed by al-Shabaab, a terrorist Muslim group, and last week they kidnapped 250 students from a Catholic school in Nigeria.  The children that are kidnapped are either radicalized or killed or sold into sex slavery.  But did you know that American tax dollars are funding this?

Dec 5 Too Stupid for Photo ID?

 Have you noticed that unelected people tell us what to do? The state of Georgia passed laws that in order to vote you have to show ID.  I've been in several third world countries and to vote there you have to have photo ID. Otherwise, how do we know you haven't voted twice?  That you are who you say you are. Otherwise, how do we even know that your vote is in any way legal?  But somehow our minorities in America don't have the ability to come up with photo ID?! Even though they have to come up with photo ID to collect their welfare checks, to drive a car, or nearly any other function of living.  This should be the most horrible insult to minorities who are told that they don't have intelligence to acquire photo ID.  And yet Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, and the National Baseball League, along with Democrats, want to punish Georgia for not insulting minorities by telling them they're too stupid to have photo ID!

Dec 4  The Conspiracy of Life

Astronomers are all excited about the possibility that they found on an Earth-like planet only 20 light years away from Earth. And since it is a planet, it might contain life!  Have you read the book "Rare Earth?" It deals with the peculiarities of Earth that makes life possible. Our Sun is precisely the right size, and Earth is precisely the right distance from the Sun. Otherwise, we would freeze or roast. The earth's tilt on our axis is precisely correct.  If it were one hundredth of one degree one way or the other, we would freeze or we would roast.  Our Moon stabilizes our rotations. Otherwise, the Earth would wobble, and we would be destroyed by earthquakes.  The Moon is precisely the right size and the right distance from Earth. All this looks like an engineered conspiracy to me.

Dec 3 China's Unrestricted War on America

The Chinese Communist Party has something they call "unrestricted warfare," and it's been long waged against the United States. Just think about all the damage they have done to America. Through trading practices, they hollowed out our industrial base and ravaged our economy. We're no longer the manufacturing center of the world. And they killed well over a million of us with COVID, plus over 100,000 a year with weaponized fentanyl.  And we know that during the Biden years, over 30,000 military-aged Chinese men came into America, and military experts agree that they weren't immigrants.  They were invaders, and they're waiting for what's called the "balloon to go up."
