Success without Failure is a Myth
I volunteered at a children’s home for many years and some of the now adult kids still contact me.  One in particular is near 30 and has been unable to find gainful employment due to learning disabilities.  He is a good man and it hurts me to see him try and fail.

Today, we were talking about his latest effort which failed and I commented that I fail at things too; however, I keep going until I find a solution.  His reply was he would give up because he was destined to fail and that I made it in life because I am “successful”.

Success is fleeting and is a sum product of all the achievements and failures that have come before.   What I have found is that for each success, many failures may have contributed to that ONE positive event, but that alone does not define one as “Successful”.  To be defined as such, one must have a string of successes, which also implies a sting of failures.

Success is really the ability to get up after a failure and try again.

The father of communist Russia coined the term. “Useful Idiots.” Lennon knew that the people wouldn’t improve their lot by exchanging the czar for communism. In fact, it would get worse. And it did. Millions died, and Lennon laughed at their stupidity. What are “useful idiots?” People who are bitter and aggrieved, and they follow a leader or a political party whose policies harm them, their loved ones and their neighbors.  But they’re too naive or too stupid to recognize the damage that they’re promoting. Useful idiots are found at all educational levels, from the illiterates to the PhD. Some wise up, and some remained useful idiots their entire lives. In fact, useful idiots jump from one harmful cause to another. The screaming in the streets and on college campuses praising Hamas’ slaughter of Jews.

Major Tom DeHavilland was removed from the Air Force because he refused the COVID jabs. After early retirement, he started surveying embalmers. Some of the hundreds of practitioners reported what they had found in the corpses that they were embalming. White rubbery clots were being pulled out of recently dead bodies. One of the officials of the embalmers hierarchy told DeHavilland about the clots, and later refused to send his survey around in a state when he wrote something in the study. He found that vascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals were finding that his robbery white clots, often in association with heart attacks. But they weren’t allowed to talk about it either. There only seems to be one connection between those white clots, why they appeared now - the COVID vaccination.

About 350 years ago, my German ancestors came to America for a better life and to become Americans. Our Founders voted on what language we would speak – and so my German ancestors learned to speak English. Everyone who came to America was expected to learn English and everyone who came here was expected to become a good American. Not what they had come from, but what they had come to. 
That has changed so drastically. Muslim jihadists are using our immigration laws to replace our Constitution with Sharia law. That’s really a bad thing, especially for women. But the 12 to 15 million illegals who came in during Biden’s administration have absolutely upset the Apple cart. Many of them didn’t come to be Americans. They came to plunder! And those are the people that Mr Trump is deporting.

When I was a kid in Pennsylvania, we had a terrible tragedy in our community when a group of coal miners were killed by something called “black damp.” That happens when you cut through a section in the mine, and a large deposit to carbon dioxide comes into your shaft. Seven miners died after being overcome by carbon dioxide. You see, carbon dioxide quickly replaces oxygen, and that’s a problem with the carbon pipelines being built across America. It’s supposed to be used for carbon capture, but it’s one of the New Green Deal scams. It doesn’t really work, and the problem is when there’s a break in the line, people are going to die. Walking Away  by Steve Adams

My first job as an engineer found me working for a large multinational company and in charge of the electrical distribution project.  

One day, a Superintendent for the construction company called me out to the site location. The design team had routed a 24” water line through every column in the new building.  He was red faced angry and preceded to throw a string of words at me while a circle of his men formed around us. Being oil rig workers, I am sure they expected a brawl but when it became apparent there was to be no discussion, I turned around silently and walked away.

The Superintendent and I work the situation out in my office 10 minutes later and the system was a success. At my farewell supper, he insisted on sitting across the table from me and gave a speech later during which he looked me straight in the eyes and said, “young man, you have a lot of grit”.

We define ourselves not by what we DO in the good times, but by what we DO in the bad.

More than half of Americans believe that January 6th was a fraud set up by the Deep State to make sure Trump could never be elected again. Today I saw a seven minute video filmed by Capitol Police and Washington police of themselves changing from the police uniforms into Maga clothes, and then going out and stirring up the crowd. Remember the video of those stupid guys that were climbing the wall? The disguised policemen were helping them onto the wall! This bothers me in several ways. By stirring up trouble like that, the Capitol Police could have brought on violence to their fellow policemen, they could have gotten a lot of protesters hurt by stirring up the violence! In fact, over a thousand protesters were hurt really badly because they’ve been in prison!  Until Mister Trump saw the light and set them free.

Victor Davis Hanson is the most brilliant commentator and author of our era. I listened to his good talk on tariffs, and how it’s only right that Trump is charging tariffs against countries who have been charging us tariffs for decades. The last time we had a trade surplus was 1975, fifty years ago. And ever since then, most of our trading partners have been charging us tariffs. Some so prohibitive that we can’t get our products into their country. In the meantime, America hasn’t been charging them tariffs. So their products get in cost free, and Americans who really don’t care about anything except cheap prices have brought on this trade imbalance, and the closure of thousands of companies across America. It’s time to stop, and Mister Trump has been the only one brave enough to stop it with tariffs.
