Liberal hatred for Conservative Heroes
Last week a big news story was the rescue of our astronauts who had been up in space nearly a year. We all saw when the capsule came down. It was immediately surrounded by porpoises! It was like they were celebrating! There is something very mystical about porpoises. They’re almost as smart as people, and have often saved the lives of people who had fallen into the ocean by keeping the sharks away. But something I didn’t notice on the news was WHO made the rescue possible! It was Elon Musk and his company SpaceX! What is it about the mainstream news that never mentions anything conservatives do that helps other people? Last week the mainstream news also attacked Pete Hedgseth, our Secretary of Defense because the defense computer automatically websites containing the designation “DEI.” I think DEI stands for “didn’t earn it!”

Finally dismantling the Department of Education!
I saw a group of “rainbow” demonstrators who are against shutting down the Department of Education. Their signs read, “Protect our kids!” What are we going to protect our kids from? Having the worst schools in the developed world? Test scores and general knowledge were so much higher before the Department of Education got involved. It seems everything the federal government touches, it makes worse. Especially education! President Trump derided the Department of Education as “wasteful, and polluted by liberal ideology.” But it looks like Congress is going to have to do the dismantling. The White House fact sheet said the order would direct Secretary Linda McMahon to take all necessary steps to facilitate the closure of the Department of Education, and return education authority to the states.

“What’s mine is mine, and what’s yours is negotiable!”
In the 1950s there was a joke about communists: “What mine is mine, and what yours is negotiable!” Chuck Schumer came pretty close to that last week. He mimicked business owners: “I don’t want to pay taxes! I built my company with my bare hands How dare your government tell me how I should treat my customers? The land and the water that I own, or my employees?!” Meanwhile, Schumer has the net worth of $81 million! (Did that come his salary?)
I think people hate the government due to career politicians like Schumer who believe they have the right to control the People through excessive taxation. Schumer and others constantly push for tax increases, and they genuinely believe that people are stealing if they don’t give everything to the government. And how the government hates the Department of Government Efficiency for questioning government spending. Sponsored by the Caylor Group Wealth Management in Lynchburg. VA call 434-455-7197.

Passed over, time and time again.
Today’s guest is inventor, philosopher, visionary, Steve Adams of Lynchburg VA.
A few weeks ago we published a piece on “The start of a journey” where I talked about being shown the Southern Cross by an orphan. A friend wrote me about that radio spot, and now he hoped a childless couple would find inspiration, or how an orphan child might find hope of finding a permanent family. The first child we adopted was much older when we took him, and had lived in orphanages and foster homes for years. He would talk about the struggles of losing possessions, and of being crammed into a home where the foster parents just wanted the extra income. One story in particular got me. He told about most weekends the kids would dress up in their Sunday best, line up to be inspected by potential parents, only to be passed over time and time again. This does not represent all situations, but as his stories came out overtime, and even today, I tear up as I tell them. My heart swells that we saved one unwanted child. And knowing adoption is so much more than just a blessing to the parents.

Activist Democrat judges can go pound sand!
Security guards for politicians and famous people know that the Venezuelan hit men are the most vicious killers on the face of the Earth. In fact, if you have a Venezuelan coming after you, you may as well just shoot yourself. About a week ago Trump expelled 261 of the worst killers on Earth. Federal judge Boasberg is a Democrat activist who ordered the planes turn around, and bring all those killers back into America. I’m just so happy about Pam Bondi who’s now head of the DOJ. Bondi said that Judge Boasberg has no authority to block Trump’s deportation, and the judge doesn’t even have the right to ask questions about it! I’m truly hoping she’s setting the pattern for the future, and to just tell those federal judges to go pound sand. Maybe they can be reassigned as dog catchers? A Mentor’s Impact
Before my professional career launched many years ago, I found myself
working for an Electrical Contractor while in college. Marvin was an
amazing man and taught me the trade. He also taught me so many
lessons on life, business, relationships and so much more. We grew
close and maintained a tight friendship for meany years with him
coming to visit me each year on his birthday.
As my career began, I remember a time where I struggled with how I
would repay Marvin for all that he had taught me. I lamented that
often until, one day, I realized that I could NOT repay him. What I
COULD do is be a mentor to other young people coming up. The rest of
my career has been spent mentoring hundreds of young people, on
many things including the lessons Marvin taught me many years ago.
In March of 2022, I lost my dear friend and mentor and I hope this spot
honors his memory. Sometimes, you cannot repay a dept but are
expected to pass the honor forward to a new generation.

The Impact of Parents
It has been fun sharing these guest spots with my parents. They get to
see aspects of my life that schedules and distance have prevented and
it lets them see life from my perspective.
After sharing some of the spots, my dad, who was an auctioneer,
started reminiscing on how I would, as a child, take the PA system or
the tape recorder and babble. He has a story about me trying to
emulate the auctioneer cadence and he loves to regale listeners with
that tale. After hearing some of the recent spots, he again started
retelling the old stories.
I am sure that his encouragement contributed in no small way to my
time in radio back in the 80’s and even to these guest spots, but two
things really hit me as I listened to his time worn tales. Parents really
DO help define us even if we pursue paths very different from theirs.
The second thing was how proud I was to hear HIM expressing pride in
me. Little things we do for our kids can and do have lasting impact.

The Democrats small-donor fundraising group, ActBlue raised three billion eight hundred million dollars in 2024. Did small dollar donors flood ActBlue website, or are there other potentially criminal explanations? The evidence is pointing to an organized effort to flout fundraising laws in order to launder money for the Democrat Party. They’ve been doing this through something called “Smurfing. “ That is, they put down the names of small donors without their knowledge, just to hide the very large donor political donations! A single Colorado resident allegedly made 57,000 contributions totaling $234,000! A Florida resident supposedly made 53,000 individual contributions. That would be nearly 1,000 separate contributions or hundreds of contributions a day.
