If Democrats want to win in the future, they better move to the right, and stop the political law-fair and start living in reality again. They have to stop talking about democracy and multiculturalism, DEI. They have to stop the race banning. They need to stop their focus on transgender rights, illegal aliens rights. They have to stop the slaughter of babies, and quit with the fraudulent voting schemes.  They should stop calling their fellow Americans names.  By the way, haven’t they run out of bad names to call us? And after losing an election, they should stop with the threats to leave our country. We really don’t care if they leave. We want to be left alone. We just want Jesus, and our Bible, and our rights to defend ourselves and our families.

In the book “David Copperfield,” Uriah Heep told David, “Be humble, and you’ll get on. Be humble.”  It seems that the Republicans have been humble too long, too gentle. But now they’re waking up. It’s a long time coming!  Republicans, conservatives, Christians, and independents represent the majority of the people in the United States of America. But because we’re too polite, too law abiding, too live-and-let-live, Democrats have increasingly abused us over the last five decades. They’re taking ever more of our freedom, and ever more of our income and assets. They’re treating us like the ugly step-sister. Today’s Tea Time is from my guest, Travis Witt. After the Declaration of Independence was approved, Virginians had a problem.  Some of us were merchants, bankers, and urban dwellers. They were members of the Episcopal Church and received taxes to pay for their rectors and facilities. They were not hunters. However, the Baptists, Methodists, and Presbyterian congregations were rural, and they needed to hunt.  Within three months 10,000 men signed a petition saying they would fight for Virginia if the government would no longer tax them to pay for a state church. Some pastors were locked up because they married couples, or baptized without being ordained on the Episcopal Church. The taxes were rescinded before the end of 1776. Thomas Jefferson realized that belief in God cannot be forced or coerced, and the taxation would not encourage anyone to attend church. Jefferson’s Statute of Religious Liberties were written to keep the state out of the church, and allow a man’s heart to be influenced by God.

Have you been watching the trial of Laken Riley’s killer, you might be as angry as I am. Not so much at the killer, but at Joe Biden and his policies that allowed all this to happen. We’re learning now that Laken’s killer was allowed to travel all over America committing crimes in every city where he landed. Until he finally went hunting for a woman. His roommate and travel companion testified that they flew from New York City, where they were living in luxury in the iconic Roosevelt hotel, to a sanctuary city Athens, GA. And they knew he was a member of Tren de Argua, the vicious Venezuelan prison gang. They flew into California where he raped a little girl and her mother, then they flew to New York City. That savage has hit more frequent flyer miles than most Americans! Biden and Mayorkas used our tax dollars to aid and abet that animal in his crimes.

Twenty two years ago our daughters graduated from high school and went away to college. Then I was faced with a problem: a 6000 square foot house with just two people in it. We decided to have a bed and breakfast. And since I love people, it was a great business! Until I was forced to say something that I really didn’t mean. So I wouldn’t say it. One of the major listing services for bed and breakfasts made the decree that “you must fly the rainbow flag on your website.” Meaning you’re gay and lesbian friendly. And now there’s even more categories of how people like their sex. We never turned away anybody, but to be forced to say that you endorsed what they “do?” If you know anything about Civil Libertarians, it really didn’t go well with me. So we simply didn’t use that listing service. Two years later we shut down the B&B. After all, who wants the Thought Police to sue you into bankruptcy?

Here’s some interesting information from the Uniform Crime Reporting program of the FBI. According to the FBI, last year there were 10 million arrests made by police. Out of those 10 million, there were 1004 officer-involved fatalities. Of those 1004 officer-involved fatalities, 41 of those were unarmed. And of those 41 deaths, 19 were white, nine were black. Even one is one too many, but nine out of 10 million? That’s a pretty small percentage. But at the same time, 89 police officers were killed. About the same number in Chicago over one weekend. So the black- on-black murders in Chicago were many multiples of unarmed blacks than killed by policemen. Maybe Black Lives Matter should train blacks not to murder each other.

Democrats are wondering how they could have possibly lost the last election! After all, they supported big government, open borders, victimhood, more regulations, defund the police, raising taxes on working Americans, equity over equality, identity-politics, mandates, tax and spend, teachers unions over parents, soft on crime, gender theory, killing preborn babies (at any stage for any reason) millions in foreign aid to countries that hate us, and billions to Ukraine for a war they shouldn’t be having, forced COVID vaccinations that are now killing thousands of people, getting our soldiers killed in Afghanistan. You have to wonder how policies like these could be rejected by so many American voters!

Back in the 1960s when I was a touring rock and roll musician, the government didn’t give us a dime. But during the Covic planned-demic the “shuttered venue operators grant” funneled $200 million to some of the biggest names in entertainment. They were called “small business owners.” Such as Little Wayne, Chris Brown, Smashing Pumpkins, and so on. They received $10 million each. Even Nickelback received $2 million. The purpose of the program was to provide financial relief to small entertainment businesses during the Covid planned-demic shutdowns. But apparently the Small Business Administration has a hard time defining the word “small,” or the word “business.” It just seems they like to give away other people’s money, and feel righteous by their generosity - with YOUR money!
