Today’s guest voice is Steve Monetti from Lynchburg VA. “George Caylor asked, ‘What makes people so angry today?’ You asked what makes them angry. I work every day with people that have what Dr. Jordan Peterson calls a "vengeance against life." Young people today are taught to "feel" above all else. They are told to pursue their own comfort or what the Constitution calls "happiness." Unfortunately, happiness as a primary goal leads to the justification of destructive behaviors. If you seek "happiness" above all else, you can get it by drug abuse, illicit sexual affairs, temper tantrums, or other destructive behaviors. Some get "happy" by stealing or destroying others' property ("if I can't have it, you can't either."). Happiness is never the goal.  The pursuit of a life's purpose (vision) borne of a defined set of values and dedicated to the benefit of one's self and others is the goal-ironically, the byproduct of pursuing a life's vision is happiness.

People have a vengeance against life because of its inherent unfairness. We did not ask to be born and we will avoid inevitable death. Also unfairly, we will be responsible for everything between birth and death. When someone has borne too much tragedy, crises, and trauma, they will begin to hate life and likewise hate those that appear to not be suffering as they are. People without life's vision are dangerous to themselves and others. Our culture is deteriorating because our values are deteriorating. Without values there is no vision. Without vision there is only ego. Ego demands satisfaction.

People have been taught that justice equals fairness. If you think that life should be "fair" (or had parents that thought that), you will never develop the emotional intelligence to deal with a life that is inherently unfair. No, justice means "you get what you deserve." Too many people today want what they don't deserve and that adds to the fire of self-loathing and hatred of God's greatest gift-humanity.

I met a sweet young couple a while back. Even though they had a good income, they were desperately in trouble. You see, they had charged their credit cards to the point where they could hardly make the interest payments anymore. They asked for my advice, and I told them “when you’re in a hole, stop digging.” I did not say “keep borrowing, and make your grandchildren pay off the debt!” I wish our Congress could think the same way. We’re in a $35 trillion hole, and there’s no hope in adults paying off that debt. Our children and grandchildren are going to be paying back the money that we so recklessly borrowed. This is more than mismanagement. It’s a sin against future generations. The past chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations, Richard Haass, criticized the congressmen who would not vote to put our country into deeper debt. Liberals are lazy people, at least intellectually. I met with a group of men who are complaining about all the policemen who’d been killed on January 6th ,  and how Trump was to blame. I asked them, “What were the names of the men who were killed?” Nobody knew. I asked, “On what date did they die?” They said “January the 6th .” I said, “No policemen died on January the 6th . One died from his third heart attack the next day. but the coroner said it had nothing to do with January the 6th . One person did die. Unarmed Ashley Babbitt was shot by a capital policeman” The men said they didn’t believe me because CNN, NBC, MSNBC had all said that many policemen were killed, and it was Mr Trump’s fault.” I think if you’re determined to really hate someone, it’s best avoid any evidence that would not support their hatred. The war on Trump is the war on Americans! It’s not only evil, it’s unconstitutional. Have you ever applied for a mortgage? Did the bank just believe you when you said your house was worth $250,000 when it’s only worth $100,000? Of course not! They do their own checking. So did the banks that loaned money to Trump. If there is fraud, the fine has to be based on the loss. Judge Arthur Engoron levied a fine of $160,000,000 for a fraud that didn’t happen. Since there was no loss, there was no fraud, and there could be no fine. Under the 8th Amendment to our Constitution, no excessive fines or punishments may be levied against anyone.  And up till now a verdict could not be based on pure hatred. During the 1980s when I ran a company in Germany, I met the son of Fritz Hitler. a movie producer in Germany during the 1930s and 1940s. He’s most famous for his movie “The Eternal Jew.” It depicts Jews as being subhuman - over and over again. Of course that was in preparation for the Holocaust. I was reminded of that this morning. I heard a man say the January 6th Commission has shown us the same video again and again, showing the violence of the insurrectionist on January 6th..  I asked him “did you see any other video? There’s 30,000 hours of it.” He said. “no, just those twenty seconds.” And of course we know the January 6th committee was promoting a strategy that dehumanized the protesters.  Nearly ninety nine percent of them did nothing wrong, but they’ve all been condemned. Last evening I had the privilege of listening to Dr Oz Guinness discussing the rise and the fall of republics. They rise because of a common goal, or an idea that a group of people can agree on. And when that idea has been forgotten or destroyed. the Republic falls. America’s idea was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, which we find in the Constitution and in the Declaration of Independence.  This has held us together, but the ACLU and the left have been making war on our Judeo-Christian principles which made us the freest country in the world. Also the wealthiest. Dr Guinness said that “Uncontrolled borders naturally constitute the suicide, or the murder of a Republic." We’re seeing that right now.  The Biden administration is murdering America with a flood of immigrants that don’t cling to the same idea that made us a nation. In George Orwell’s prophetic novel, “1984,” we have the Ministry of Plenty. Every day they would lie about the number of shoes that have been manufactured - which always exceeded how many shoes have been manufactured the day before. Except everyone knew the numbers were wrong, and perhaps no shoes have been manufactured. Most people wore bad shoes, and some people had no shoes at all. And now we have Mr Biden doing the same thing. He talks about the jobs he’s created. Well, 20% of the jobs that Joe takes credit for after stealing the 2020 election are in government. Which means - these folks are being paid by us for doing practically nothing. And jobs in health care caused by the manufactured disease COVID. The rest of the jobs are going to non-citizen. Recently there have been two shooters at Christian institutions. One at a Christian school in Tennessee, and one at a Lakeland Church in Texas. What did they both have in common? Well, a woman who was actually a man, Jeffrey Escalante, attacked the Lakeland Church on February 11th.   In Nashville Tennessee, a man who was actually a woman, Audrey Hale, shot up a Christian school. I guess you know what they do have in common?  They were both transsexuals, and both very angry at Christians. As Christ said, They hate you because they hate me.” And of course the mainstream media didn’t mention that either one of the shooters was a transsexual. Has it occurred to you why teachers’ unions are against school choice? I think I found the answer. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy just signed a law. The teacher candidates don’t have to take a Basic Skills Test. Under the new law, a would- be teacher doesn’t need to take the test. The New Jersey Education Association said “the test is a barrier to entry for low- income New Jerseyans, especially if they already have a bachelor’s degree. At a time of acute educator shortages across the state, we need more teachers and they don’t have to pass a test to become a great teacher.” Is it any wonder why America’s education system is producing the lowest scores among all developed countries?
