In many ways, the fourth commandment is a wonderful thing. It is meant to be benign, beneficial, and refreshing. It is God's way of telling you in short, to take a rest in the busy beehive-world we live in, what a wonderful gift this is. 

It was meant to be a blessing but by the time of Jesus the Sabbath  became a burden. How should we view the fourth of the ten commandments?

Daniel Chapter 6:1-7. In this chapter is one of the most famous stories of the entire bible, "Daniel in the Lion's Den". Sunday school children may be familiar with it, do we, both young and old understand what it really means?

It is a most precious sound and defiling it brings great punishment. We  are talking about God’s Name - YHWH / יְהֹוָה - Yeshua / ישׁוּעַ. This  wonderful name is the key to life, salvation, and eternity itself. Yet  to misuse and abuse it will bring incalculable loss.

As biblical Christians we have a command, an example through Christ himself about meekness. Very important, very misunderstood. There is something we need to understand, biblical meekness is not weakness. 

Remember they are the foundation of Western legal jurist prudence, shapes civilisation by its wonderful lofty alpine high precepts, ethics, morality, and even spirituality. 

They are the basis of the western legal system and represent the highest  moral, ethical, and spiritual standards. This podcast introduces you to  the Ten Commandments.
