Fatherlessness can reach a long way into the future. Today, Dallas and I finished up the look at what the pathway to healing looks like. We look at the critical markers for moving forward into the future.
And most importantly, building a life worthy of imitation, a life that our family, friends, and people we influence can observe and copy.
About Dallas Cox
Dallas Cox is the Location Pastor at Life Church Green Bay.
His wife, Shelby, is the Worship Pastor. Together, they have three beautiful children. Dallas and Shelby have been involved in youth and children's ministry for 15 years. Recently, they have taken on the role of Location Pastors.
Dallas is one of the finest, young, servant leaders in the ministry today. Not only is he a talented speaker and communicator but a musician as well. But most of all, his love for people comes to the fullness of their faith in Jesus Christ.
Dallas' primary drive is seeing people come to a genuinely authentic relationship with Jesus Christ, living an abundant life directed and led by the Holy Spirit. Further, to grow personally and individually engaged in the faith community.
And he holds the record for the longest, heartiest, loud laugh ever recorded.

How does a fatherless boy become a Pastor? Growing up in a highly dysfunctional, multi-parent, multi-sibling home can stack odds against a guy to have any success in life at all. My friend Dallas Cox tells his story of healing and wholeness that emerged from brokenness and dysfunction.

There are men in the world who have emerged from extraordinary odds. Men who grew up fatherless, never knowing who their father was, and yet somehow made a life for themselves. Germain is one of those men.
Today, Barry talks with Germaine Nunn about his checkered past and the moment he met God in prison.

Barry and Keith talk about the two sides of "What If" coin in a man's life. But being a father seeker isn't a game of chance.

Many men chose the pathway of the lone wolf to deal with their loneliness by accommodating it, giving it a place to live in their souls.
We know those lonely men don't change; they don't grow. The truth is we nurse our wounds with loneliness, and our condition worsens.
A Cadre eliminates lone wolfs.
Changed men make the difference:
Changed men change each other.
Changed men change their families.
Changed men change their cultures.

Accountability is more than correction, more than pointing out mistakes and failures.
It's more about walking together with like-minded men, in step with the Holy Spirit, imitating the life of Christ in our everyday lives. Pastors Barry and Keith discuss the importance of accountability and practical steps to maintain accountability.

When you pray, do you repeat the same things repeatedly to God?
Do you ask, seek, and knock for new things, new directions, and instructions from God?
The content of our prayers matters, and it's essential. Let's talk.

Is talking with God like speaking to other people?
Does He want to engage with me?
What does He want to say to me?
How should I respond?
Is He trustworthy?
