I wrote this little rocker after being tired of watching all the horse poop on the news. We've gotten to a point where it's hard to believe in anyone. But . . . there are a few that I truly believe in. Who? That's my business:) Trust me . . . they've earned that belief and trust. From a musical standpoint, check out the "smart strings" as a backing layer. It fills out the groove nicely.

This simple track is the intro/exit to my podcast episode "Secrets." When I put it together, I was inspired by the simplicity, yet pure angst in Soundgarden's version of "In My Time of Dying." Quite the juxtaposition considering I've tilted it "Whisper." I guess whispers can be quite powerful, as well!

This track is the intro/exit to my podcast "No Return to Syndication." This is a far darker track than most of my stuff. I was channeling my inner Soundgarden and Tool for "Dirt." I'm not nearly as good, but I can channel them just the same:)

This track is the intro/exit to my podcast episode "What If?" The inspiration came from a book I was reading with my students at the time titled Fever 1793; which is set in Philadelphia (which has the Liberty Bell). That got me thinking about 'freedom' as Elton John has a phenomenal song titled "Philadelphia Freedom"! See how my mind works:) Well, there ya' go!

This new track was built and layered on a simple chord progression. But if listened to closely, you'll hear multi-guitar tracks (along with a flute of all things) blended in. "To the Wire" alludes to taking things as far as need be to accomplish whatever dream(s) you may be striving for.

This song is the intro/exit track to my podcast episode "Throttled." The title "Victorious" comes from the power chord that comes out of nowhere towards the end of the song; it feels like you've just crossed whatever finish line you've been striving for.

This track is the intro/exit to my podcast episode "Don't Forget You." The title "Tunnels" came to me when listening to the playback. The ambience and reverb remind me of a video game I played (which I feel is about the afterlife) called Journey, by ThatGameCompany. The tunnels referring to the transfer portal from here to there . . . wherever "there" happens to be.

This track is the intro/exit to my podcast episode "Time Is Never On My Side." The title "Footsteps" came from the bass line. When I listen to the playback (the dum dum dum dum), it sounds like something is coming right up behind me . . . hence, footsteps!

"Echoes" has kind of an ethereal feel to it (along with rock n' roll schematics. Very chill alternative rock track, in my opinion:)

This track is the intro/exit to my podcast episode "Changes." The title "Balance" alludes to the key structure here. I was inspired while listening to "Strawberry Fields" by the Beatles. What I love about this particular song is how John Lennon purposely is somewhat out of tune. The key change is subtle, but it's there. I did the same thing here with "Balance" as there is a portion where I purposely went "off balance" within the song's construct . . . cause why not:)
