A recent survey by Canva shows that teachers are actually welcoming AI as a way to alleviate their workloads and reduce burnout. The survey of 1,000 US-based kindergarten-through-grade-12 teachers found that 83% experience burnout, with classroom and student management responsibilities being major stressors. However, 42% of teachers used AI in their classrooms during the past school year, and 92% of AI users found it helpful in terms of work efficiency and reducing burnout. Teachers who used AI also reported higher job satisfaction, while even those who hadn't used AI were optimistic about its potential to reduce burnout. With a growing acceptance and willingness to embrace the technology, AI could have a positive impact on the teaching profession.
