Genesis 39:1-23
In our continued journey through the life of Joseph, we turn to Genesis 39 and consider how God’s faithful covenant love is at work—even in suffering and injustice. Though Joseph is betrayed, enslaved, and imprisoned, Scripture emphasizes one unshakable truth: “The Lord was with Joseph.” Be encouraged by the God who never abandons His people and who keeps His promises, even in the darkest places.
This is the first sermon in a series exploring the life of Joseph in Genesis 37–50. Through betrayal, injustice, and suffering, Joseph’s story reminds us that even when we can’t see what God is doing, He is always at work for His glory and our good.
Join us each week as we trace God’s sovereign handthrough Joseph’s trials—and discover the hope that anchors us in our own.
