Gun safety is the most important topic in firearms training that we can discuss. With more and more new shooters entering the ranks as both shooters and gun owners, the pace of gun safety education has had to pick up to meet the demand.
Many folks don’t enroll in a formal course to learn gun safety. Instead they trust their friends and acquaintances to help and guid them. This can be met with great success or it could be a dismal failure. Often it is something right in the middle where all involved narrowly escaped disaster, through luck.
Luck counts, but don’t count on luck.
We need quality gun safety education so that folks can intentionally avoid an accident with a gun. Accidents with guns are serious events that can lead to serious injury or death.
In many situations a bit of attention to detail can help everyday folks do a better job of teaching gun safety and those are the tips I’m going to give you today.
