As we continue in the book of Philippians we are warned of the work within the body of Christ by those who would lead astray and even devour the faith of believers.

Once we have saving faith, and assurance faith, the the Lord starts increasing our walking and working faith -

From the beginning of time on earth there is one who has been relentless in opposing both God and those who would follow Him. He has many names and one is 'the accuser of the brethren'-

Paul the apostle teaches and exhorts us to have a walk that is deeper. Which means we must walk towards eternity from our starting point of salvation. Then run with patience our own race.

Why does the Lord allow things and yet warn us about them-

The Apostle Paul takes us into some specific things that are the will of God. Things which we need the Holy Spirit to help us fulfill.
