This week we learn how to truly increase joy in our lives and avoid the pitfalls of false happiness and in doing so we must first know the difference between happiness and joy. We are always obsessed with time. This can be another pitfall keeping us from experiencing God’s love. We look at the book of Exodus to see how we can use our time more effectively in a way that is honoring to God. (Mariners Church Chapel, Irvine, CA)

Understanding what keeps us from experiencing God’s love and what gets in the way of us loving our neighbor. We are constantly comparing ourselves to others and this get’s in the way of loving ourselves and loving others the way God calls us to love them. We need to love our neighbor because we need it for our survival. God calls us to settle down and be prosperous together in community. It’s so easy for us to be that bad neighbor.
