  • Get me to the booth on time with Nir Rozen and Liat Weiss Shahaf

Free and fair elections are one essential feature of liberal democracy. As Israel approaches this critical election, how can citizens protect the integrity of the electoral process from meddling and the undermining of trust in its outcome?

In this episode of Team Talk Israel, David Krikler is joined by Liat Weiss Shahaf, Head of External Relations at “Brothers and Sisters in Arms for Democracy”, and Nir Rozen, CEO of “FakeReporter”, to reveal the threats to election integrity and the efforts of pro-democracy NGOs to counter them.

They discuss how disinformation, voter intimidation and attempts to undermine trust in democratic institutions aim to impact participation and the legitimacy of the results. They explain how diligent online monitoring and robust action at polling stations can work together to protect the vote. David also speaks with Offir Gutelzon, co-founder of "UnXeptable", about the unprecedented effort to get pro-change Israelis living overseas home to vote, and how supporters around the world can help.

  • Unseen Communities with Fainy Sukenik and Zaher Abu Elnaser

As Israel approaches elections, Haredi women and Arab Palestinian Israeli citizens are often spoken about but rarely seen and heard. What will it take to recognize them as full partners in shaping Israel’s future, and how can this change the outcome at the ballot box?

In this episode of Team Talk Israel, David Krikler is joined by Haredi feminist activist Fainy Sukenik and journalist and media strategist Zaher Abu El-Naser. Both challenge the common assumptions about their communities.

They discuss the exclusion of Haredi women from their parties’ electoral lists, the fight against organised crime in Arab society, and how the prospect of a genuine share in decision-making can motivate voters. Together, they challenge those who claim their commitment to liberal democracy in Israel and across world Jewry to make full political partnership a reality for those too often left out.

  • Not ‘Security’ or ‘Peace,’ but Secure Peace | Maj. Gen. Nimrod Sheffer | Ofer Shelah

Security and peace are often presented as polar opposites when in fact they are inseparable and the pursuit of one requires the pursuit of both.

Nimrod Sheffer, former Head of the IDF Planning Directorate, and Ofer Shelah, Director of the Israel’s National Security Policy research programme at The Tel Aviv think-tank - The INSS, and a former Member of Knesset. They explore how peace became a “dirty word” in Israeli discourse, how October 7 has reshaped perceptions of peace and security, and what Israel can do to create the conditions for secure peace - one that truly serves Israel’s future in the region, its standing in the world ,its future as a Jewish and democratic state and its relationship with world Jewry.

  • The Endangered Majority | Dr. Jeffrey R. Solomon | Stav Shaffir-Stiva

When a majority is silenced by louder and more extreme voices, it becomes endangered. How can the endangered majority find its voice?

In this episode of Team Talk Israel, David Krikler is joined by former Knesset member and social entrepreneur Stav Shaffir-Stiva and Dr. Jeffrey R. Solomon, a leading figure in Jewish philanthropy, to explore the idea of an “endangered majority” in Israel and across the Jewish world.

They discuss how the majority that shares a belief in liberal democracy, societal fairness, and the pursuit of secure peace has become reluctant to make its voice heard and how this process can be reversed by like-minded citizens of Israel, world Jewry, and international allies.
