  • ALL Hunting Stands and Blinds BANNED? | New Regulations for Texas Public Land

n this episode, we discuss East Texas public hunting land managed by the National Park Service and the U.S. Department of the Interior to take a closer look at the hunting regulations and what they mean for hunters. Unlike many public hunting areas, this property has stated that tree stands and hunting blinds are completely prohibited.

That creates a very different hunting experience and forces hunters to rethink how they scout, set up, and hunt whitetails on the property. We cover the details on where these laws came from and what this means for the future.

  • USDA Could Open National Forest To Development | "Roadless Rule Change" Explained

A major change could be coming to America’s National Forests.

In this video, we take a look at the USDA’s federal proposal to change protections for inventoried roadless areas on National Forest System lands. The proposal could open some currently protected roadless areas to activities such as road construction, timber harvesting, and other forms of development.

For hunters, wildlife enthusiasts, conservationists, and anyone who enjoys public land, this could have significant implications. Roadless forests provide important habitat for wildlife, offer remote hunting opportunities, and preserve some of the wildest areas remaining on public lands.

We’ll break down what the proposal actually does, why the roadless protections were created, what could change, and what it could mean for places like the Sam Houston National Forest and other National Forest System lands.

Is this an opportunity for better forest management and access—or could it fundamentally change some of our most valuable public lands?

Watch the video and let me know what you think in the comments.

  • Wetland Draining Protections Could Be Changing | What They Arnt telling you
The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is considering changes involving drain-tile setbacks around protected wetlands in the Prairie Pothole Region—one of the most important waterfowl breeding areas in North America. At first glance, this may sound like a technical change to drainage regulations. But the potential implications are much bigger.
In this video, we break down what the USFWS is considering, why drain-tile setbacks matter, how underground drainage can affect wetland water levels, and why duck hunters and conservationists are concerned about the future of these critical habitats.
