Since the gospel has as much to say to our horizontal relationships as it does to our vertical relationship with the Trinity, Paul explores how because the wall of hostility was brought down in the body of Jesus, different ethnicities stand on equal footing in relation to the promises of God.

And now the things that the fallen powers and principalities would use to separate us are used to display God's manifold wisdom.
