Teaser of an upcoming interview with Huda Nejim Al-Asedi, who has the finger on the pulse of "art education", trained as an architect, she has something to say about the "gaps in knowledge" and from her experience as a teacher with a perspective on the global situation, what are the factors to bridge that gap. Huda stressed that she is an advocate of a creative approach to education, rather than art education per se.
Huda is an educator and creative entrepreneur. Formally trained as an architect from the University of Malaya and as a teacher from the Teach For Malaysia programme, she has been actively working with various teams for the community, in both rural or urban contexts. She believes in a multidisciplinary approach in designing creative lesson plans and programs for the youth. Her passion is in writing, illustration and visual storytelling.
