Joining us today / tonight is my good friend Justin, or as he likes to go by his gaming name Clutch. I have known him for quite a while, since we met through unconventional means of Online gaming. More specifically World of Warcraft. Since we started partying together in game, our friendship has grown beyond the game and I am very happy to continue to keep contact with him.
In this episode, we cover quite a bit of video game talk, specifically about popular MMORPG World of Warcraft. We discuss how we met in game, the early days, and some of our favorite experiences with World of Warcraft. Justin also talks about his awesome podcast Clu7ch Cast which is also tech and video game oriented. Lastly we cover some of the new tech trends surrounding the internet TV market and do a light analysis of Sling TV and YouTube TV. Make sure to give this episode a good listen, there may a surprise for you at the end!
Since the last episode where I actually covered technology, a lot has taken place with new devices announced, apps gained, lost and people losing confidence in their platform of choice. I think now, more than ever, it’s hard to be an enthusiast for any specific platform these days, because well, there is just so much to enjoy with all mobile phone platforms. I, myself included have taken time to experience some of the features Android has to offer. Because of that, I have a widened perspective, and I don’t blindly bash things just because they aren’t on my mobile platform of choice.
This episode we cover some of the challenges I faced staying on the Android platform, why I still use my Lumia 950 as my main phone, and some of the exciting things in technology such as the Samsung Galaxy S8 and it’s Continuum like features called DEX. Sprinkle in some video game talk, I cover my brief experience using PlayStation Now and some of the games I have been playing.
Lastly, I am going to aim for a Wednesday releases going forward.

It has been a great experience getting the feedback of episode 3! I was honestly surprised to see how many people listened, and gave me feedback, despite it being a non tech related subject! Of course I call this a tech and web podcast, but in reality, technology and the web are a small portion of what’s important to me!
In this episode, I cover a few things I found important with my journey into fatherhood. There is a lot to learn about parenting, and no matter how many classes you take or books you read… You are never really prepared for parenthood. It’s just something you have to experience yourself!
This episode, we have a guest who is very well known in the realm of all things Microsoft. Vernon Smith has joined us for a lengthy session about technology, life balance, fatherhood and much more! A little bit about Vernon, he is a father, mobile and technology enthusiast. You can follow Vernon on Twitter @VernonEL.
Vernon and I had a lot to discuss, which this episode is part 1 of my session with Vernon, we will pick up part 2 on episode 6.

First Podcast episode going solo! Before we get into the show notes, I wanted to make an announcement:
I wanted to touch a bit on what’s been going on with my previous project Slice of the Net, and for those of you who don’t know, I have been a part of a podcast featuring a talented group of individuals with the purpose of talking about tech, web and video games. pretty much anything that came to mind. The Slice of the Net podcast was active since 2012 all the way to 2016.
At this moment, I am going to be focusing my efforts into this project, which means sliceofthenet may not happen anymore. Completely a result of all of us involved with the project allowing life to take priority. Some of us got married, had kids, new careers and are now unable to give the commitment required for a podcast.
In Video Games this week, I talk about my Final Fantasy XV experience. I highly recommend you pick this title up!
I also give a mini review of the Latest for World of Warcraft Legion. I really liked this expansion, and I explain why.
In other video game news see the trailer below.
