Binance has opened bStocks margin collateral to all eligible users. Since August the feature was gated to VIP 3 and above; from today any eligible account, including VIP 0, can post supported tokenized stocks as collateral for futures and margin trading in Cross Margin and Portfolio Margin accounts.
Three things become possible. Users can borrow quote assets against bStocks to buy more bStocks with up to 5x leverage; they can convert existing stock holdings into bStocks while keeping dividend eligibility; and in a Portfolio Margin account a single bStock can serve as both collateral and the hedge against a futures short on the same name.
bStocks launched on 12 June with five names on BNB Chain. They passed $30 billion in cumulative trading volume in under 90 days. The outstanding value has doubled from $334 million in mid-July to $678 million in early September, within $15 million of Kraken's xStocks.
The whole tokenized-stock category has grown from under $1 billion in January to $3.1 billion in September. The 30-day data show holders, active addresses and transfer volume rising far faster than value held, which is what a token being put to work rather than parked looks like.
Haircuts, collateral ratios and liquidation rules apply; VIP 0 to 2 accounts get extra automatic risk controls that lift once an account returns to a safe level. bStocks are certificates issued under an ADGM prospectus, not shares. They are not available to US persons.

This verified reading list traces that arc and explains why Discovery Loop, his new venture in automating scientific experimentation, is a logical next step.

  • Binance Just Turned Loyalty Into an Asset Class: Inside VIP Earn's 20% Rate Premium and 10x Quotas

This story was originally published on HackerNoon at: https://hackernoon.com/binance-just-turned-loyalty-into-an-asset-class-inside-vip-earns-20percent-rate-premium-and-10x-quotas.

Binance launches VIP Earn with APRs up to 10-20% above regular rates and 10x quotas across 20+ tokens for VIP 1-9 users. Full analysis of what it changes.

Binance launched VIP Earn on 12 August 2026, a dedicated hub that consolidates selected Simple Earn Locked and on-chain yield products for VIP 1 to 9 users with APRs up to 10 to 20 percent higher than regular rates and subscription quotas up to 10x larger across 20+ tokens including BTC, ETH, USDT and BNB.
Access is automatic for all VIP tiers with zero registration, while non VIP users can browse the hub in view only mode, which quietly turns the product page into a marketing funnel for tier upgrades.
SAPI support lets institutions and high frequency desks manage Earn positions programmatically, which is the clearest signal that Binance wants yield to sit inside the execution stack rather than in a separate savings tab.
The strategic read: this is deposit retention economics borrowed from private banking, deployed at the exact moment tokenized money market funds and on-chain yield venues are competing hardest for the idle balances of large holders.
The quota expansion is the sleeper feature. Institutions rarely hit conviction limits before they hit product caps, so 10x quotas remove the constraint that actually binds.

  • Why Google Search Is Actually Dumb

Schema markup over substance: why Google's AI keeps citing the same "authoritative" sites instead of real experts.

If Google could genuinely understand content instead of relying so heavily on SEO signals, search would likely surface more accurate information from real experts rather than simply rewarding the websites that best understand its algorithms.
