On today's episode, Raesetje Sefala joins Khanyi for a conversation on data science and AI (artificial intelligence) in Africa. Raesetje is an AI research, currently doing her Computer Science Masters at Witwatersrand University. Her research focuses on creating ground truth datasets and using machine learning to study spatial segregation in South Africa, post-Apartheid. They chat about AI in the context of Africa, putting African research on international tech spaces and why more womxn are not going into the research industry.
