In this episode I discuss together with Santiago Cabrera-Naranjo how corporates can improve their data-science processes especially when it comes to the deployment of AI-systems. My guest experienced data-science right from it beginnings 10 years ago when he worked with Groupon, Axel Springer and his own start-up. Right now he is Consulting Director for AI at Teradata. There he does real big projects regarding the digital transformation in large corporates. Some of our key takeaways are: 

1.) Define a clear business problem and understand what deployment means to your project.

2.) Don´t start with a methodology just because it is the current trend

3.) Do wise Make or Buy decisions

I was invited by Videonation to participate on a panel discussion at the Startup Thailand conference in Bangkok. I discussed along with Max Osborne (Co-Founder, CTO, COO of ThisThat ) and the fantastic Al Caudullo (Global Director of Production at 360Today News).  Together we tried to find out within our 40 minutes talks how VR and Data-Science can transform together effectively the digital landscape.  I have met with Andy Wilson (Industry Pricipal Media) from Dropbox at the NOAH 2019. The one or other probably got the news during the past weeks that Dropbox is focusing on the integration of  a lot of web-based tools into Dropbox. With the new service It got pretty easy and desktop-friendly to share and save a Zoom-Link or a Trello Board on your machine. The one ore other developer will say: "Who cares - I am only using my console". Well, Dropbox has an open API where you can work on to integrate your service into Dropbox as well. Exciting?
