New Iberia Mayor Pro-Tem Dan Doerle joins us on Wednesday's in the off week of New Iberia City Council meetings. On this occasion, we discussed last weeks council meeting that included discussion about the budget. Also talked about the successful tax proposal to bring back the New Iberia Police Department.

Ray Fremin, Jr., Executive Director Iberia Parish Levee, Hurricane, and Conservation District discussed a proposed levee system for the parish and a November 18th property tax proposal in front of the voters. Early voting begins November 4th. An informational public meeting will be held Tuesday, October 24, 6:00 PM at the Francis Romero Building Located at 6310 Coteau Park Road.
