According to some opinion, the opening DJ should “bang it out” in order to maximize appearance and appeal to the promoter of each event. Anyone who’s attended our live events or have been to a proper House, Tech-House or Techno event knows this is not the course to take. For us at Techniche, the opening DJ set and the tone it sets for the night is essential in establishing the vibe of the event and the legacy and longevity we strive for. The DJs we book, and the residency John Vilotti holds as our frequent, but not exclusive opening DJ is as important as each set played throughout the night. It takes a highly skilled, knowledgeable and patient DJ to further the night with grace and flawless execution. THAT, is exactly what John Vilotti does every time he’s slated to open and that’s why we can always rely on him to do it right. Proper momentum in the mixing sense, and in almost every noble craft is much more admired and more essential than “banging it out” in order to truly create something memorable and of value. We hold this mix in high value. Press play. tracklist: https://technichesd.com/trs148 Join the Fold: technichesd.com/jointhefoldYOUTUBE SUBSCRIBE: bit.ly/2wo7jZYINSTAGRAM: instagram.com/techniche_sdTWITTER: twitter.com/technichesdFACEBOOK: facebook.com/technichesd

Techno is ubiquitous in this modern dance music sound-scape. Since it's inception, it has morphed into different shades of itself spawning similar genres such as tech-house, while also being influenced industrial dance music and "dark disco". One aural conductor that knows this well is our guest, Jon Doss; a DJ provocateur who expertly navigates between the world of Techno and Industrial with stunning results. Jon guides us and keeps us safe in this proto-black expedition into elegance and guilt-free indulgence into the dark side of dance. It is through this mix, where we find light and lead into his appearance at Techniche Blackout 6. For now and forward, keep this mix as a close companion.tracklist: https://technichesd.com/trs147Join the Fold: technichesd.com/jointhefoldYOUTUBE SUBSCRIBE: bit.ly/2wo7jZYINSTAGRAM: instagram.com/techniche_sdTWITTER: twitter.com/technichesdFACEBOOK: facebook.com/technichesd
