Techno Mixes

Live recording from the 909Originals ANALOG RHYTHMS exhibition, @The Racket Space / Bernard Shaw 15th July. The night was a celebration the evolution of the Dublin club scene during the 1990s and early 2000s. Telling the story of pivotal venues such as Sides DC, Temple of Sound, The Ormond Multi Media Centre, The Pod, Columbia Mills, The Asylum, Temple Theatre, The Kitchen, System, The Funnel, The Furnace and many more, featuring a massive collection of flyers, photos, clippings and memorabilia curated by 909originals.com

“It was so brilliant to see so many familiar party people from both the early and recent days reminding me of the cherished reasons for loving true underground dance music💚 It was a real privilege to play from the start, setting the vibes. I played tracks that I danced to in the early Sides days, from special mixtapes I had by Liam Dollard, Johnny Moy and Andy Weatherall, tracks I played in the early Planet Dub days and at our house parties some of which I haven’t heard out in clubs since those special early blueprint days. An amazing feeling playing these and hearing people in the crowd recognise them instantly💚 Very happy to have captured the recording and be able to share it here to relive the buzz again💚💚Tracks from the history vaults by Mad Sound Disease, Sound Crowd, Ege Bam Yasi, The KLF, Orbital, Underworld, Leftfield, Joey Beltram…💚🔊💚Underground Dance Music Forever✊🫶☝️#oldschool #oldschooltechno #planetdub #irishtechno

Live recording from Index Dublin at Suject events 15th Birthday bash!

Recording contains killer tracks by Aero, Lee Holman, Oliver Rosemann, Lester Fitzpatrick, Stef Mendesidis, Ritzi Lee and more…

A recording from Wild Roots Festival, I thoroughly enjoyed playing at this one💚

Originally I was down to play a classic early 90’s Trance Style set which shifted due to lineup changes! I kept my set loosely in a similar theme mixing up some classic and new tracks to keep with the epic festival vibes💚

Everyone will definitely recognise a few in here!

I hope you enjoy it even half as much as I did playing💚🇮🇪💚

My Red Bull Music Academy competition mixtape from ’99.

This mix won me a place at the academy being held in Berlin that year where I got to meet and spend time with some truly inspirational figures in electronic music @claudeyoung @westbam_soundcloud @danny-breaks Kodwo Eshun, @djqbert Jesse Saunders & Suburban knight!

Now just over 20 years old with tracks from some of Techno musics Jedi masters Cari Lekebusch, Steve Stoll, Jeff Mills, James Ruskin, Function & Regis, the mix still holds up strong today in terms of production and power

It is a real shame to hear @redbullmusicacademy will be closing down later this year, For myself and many many others it has been a genuinely positive force for the Electronic music and DJing culture.
