This weeks guest mix I introduce you to S3rious Music from Germany. For as long as I can remember, music has been an important part of my life. From a young age my father advised me: "Music was not made for dancing, but as a futuristic statement!" For a long time I didn't know what that means for me until I dealt with it and discovered electronic music. In 2015 I attended the first techno parties and was always deeply fascinated and became more curious! In 2018 I got to know the Allgäu collective justgoodvibz and went to one or the other of their parties and came into contact with them more and more. In 2019 I became part of it and with my first gig I made a clear statement for myself and my listeners. Fast, dark rhythms, creaking basses and a serious look when DJing turned me into S3rious Music. The next and the next event came and I constantly improved my skills and knew exactly in which direction I would move. Dark techno around 135 - 140 bpm is how I can best express my feelings and what I identify with the most and don't lose the fun! Anyone who knows me knows what music means to me and what my future goals are! I want to connect people with my music and during this time when they are listening to my music forget everything around them and just have a unique moment that stays forever!

Lets Go Techno

Over & Out

Some serious words.

For me it is an abnormal necessity of my existence to express this communication here.

Every moment counts.

Not just for me.

Also for you.

Together we could conquer the world.

This is more than just a big dream.

Something like that will go down in the history books.

To our own sake, a memorial will be erected at some point.

For a thousand years.

How will it be called?

Baptism of fire?

A firestorm of inner unity has brought my spirit here.

What I have experienced is enough for several earth lives.

In just this one human life I have managed to make a leap in development, for which someone else at least once have must been, but mostly countless times, be incarnated.

And I still have to go through an undescribeable eternal big chaincycle of cause and effect in order to really know what it means to be the most outstanding but well unknown artist at his living time on earth:

Andreas Johann Linek

OXIA is one France’s most respected DJs and producers, with a career spanning over twenty years and intensive touring on all continents. He has built an impressive list of remixes and releases on respected imprints such as Kompakt, Hot Creations, 8bit, Knee Deep In Sound, Saved… In addition to his own label Diversions Music.

The Frenchman released his debut album ‘24 Heures’ on Goodlife in 2004 and his second widely acclaimed album ‘Tides Of Mind’ was released in 2012 on Infine. Several collaborations were established as well, with Miss Kittin, Agoria, or Nicolas Masseyeff. With the latter OXIA also launched Diversions Music in 2016, on which he has so far released four EPs.

In 2017, OXIA’s classic hit “Domino” (40 million views on YouTube) was re-released on Sapiens, and came with a number of very successful remixes. In parallel, OXIA himself released a few remixes, notably for Moby (Suara), and others (Moan, Diversions Music).

2018 has been a strong year for OXIA with his “Reset To Zero” EP plus a remix on Diversions and a contribution to Knee Deep in Sound’s Ibiza 2018 Sampler. His touring schedule is taking him across the globe, from the intimate clubs to the festivals, and for the fifth consecutive year, playing for Music On at Amnesia Ibiza.

2019 will see new OXIA releases following, starting with his ‘Second Mood’ EP released in March on Diversions Music.
