Technology Fostering Human Connection: 'From Corporate Management Consulting Executive to Women's Leadership Coach and Cofounder of the Daily Haloha App Amy Giddon
Amy Giddon had two career transformations. After many years as a corporate management consulting executive, she wanted to find more meaningful work. She decided to switch tracks to mentor young women for leadership in male dominated fields by becoming a workshop leader at Columbia University.
In 2016, she was struck by a public art exhibit "Subway Therapy, a communal art project in which strap-hangers wrote messages on colorful Post-it notes, offered a chance for emotional catharsis at one of the city’s main subway stations. The brainchild of artist Matthew “Levee” Chavez" This beautiful wall inspired Amy to create the Daily Haloha App.
