Facebook Moderators face unprecedented trauma on a daily basis by being exposed to the absolute worst that humanity can throw at them. I was barely able to complete the expose by The Verge and could really resonate with what they had to put up with. We have been talking about Facebook a lot in the past number of weeks and I think we all need to continue to limit our exposure to the content and negativity that is really impacting us as a society. I really think we will have a lot of trouble ahead if we do not start putting the brakes on and make sure we are getting exposure to content that is helping us.

February 26, 1991: Sir Tim Berners Lee Shows the WorldWideWeb via Browser[/caption]

1991 – Sir Tim Berners-Lee showed everyone the first web browser and WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) HTML editor. The Browsers’ name was called “WorldWideWeb”, but was later changed to “Nexus”. Berners-Lee ran it on the NeXTSTEP platform and worked with not only the File Transfer Protocol (FTP), but the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP). Nexus is not in production anymore.

Lenovo had quite a few things to show off this year. They have accessories, notebooks, displays, gaming products and more.

The Lenovo Smart Clock runs Google assistant. It has a 4″ touchscreen display(480×800 resolution). It’s also 2.4 and 5G wireless. It has a USB port for charging your phone as well. The Lenovo Smart Display gives you a bigger screen and a speaker.

Accessories include a USB-C powered hub with HDMI 2.0, VGA, USB-C powered base pass-through and other ports. Then there’s the Yoga Mouse Laser Presenter, which can act as a mouse or a laser presenter. It twists to switch between modes.

The Lenovo Ultra-Portable Bluetooth Speaker at only 11 nano-meters thin. It sports Bluetooth 5.0 with NFC connection. Up to two devices simultaneously. It fast charges in just 2 hours and runs for 8 hours. It is also IPX2 splash-resistant and compatible with Siri and Goggle Assistant.

The Lenovo VOIP 360 camera/speaker with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, 30 frames per second. Some features include 4 display modes, 360 soundcaster, supports Skype, Amazon Chime, Cisco Jabber, and Google Hangouts.

The Lenovo Legion Y540 15″ laptop has an Intel Core processor, a display of 144 Hz, Dolby vision HDR, Windows 10, up to 32 GB DDR4 2666 MHz, Up to 512 GB PCIe SSD, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, and Harman speakers with Dolby Atmos.

The Lenovo Legion H500 with 7.1 Surround Sound has 7.1 surround sound and a retractable mic. It also packs in dynamic 50mm drivers, memory foam ear cups with protein leather.

The Yoga A940 is a new All-In-One. It’s perfect for audio,video, drawing and other creative uses. The large screen tilts down so you can use a stylus comfortably. It has an Intel 8th Gen Core i7, AMD Radeon RX 560, up to 32GB DDR4 , 27-inch UHD (3840×2160) IPS touchscreen, Dolby Vision HDR , up to 2TB SATA HDD storage and much more.

The new laptops include the Lenovo C730, the Yoga S940, ThinkPad X1 Carbon and the ThinkPad X1 Yoga.

February 25, 1999 – hacker Gigabyte hacks C# language[/caption]

1999 – Microsoft’s newest programming language at the time – C# (pronounced “C-Sharp”) was hacked on this day. The perpetrator was a seventeen year old female hacker from Belgium, calling herself “Gigabyte”.

2002 – Gigabyte posts the source code to the virus on her website. Kim Vanvaeck would be arrested in 2004 for writing the malicious code. The reason why she did it?

I want to let people (and especially guys) know there ARE girls out there who like computers and for more than games. I think that’s quite important … for all girls out there who know something about computers but are surrounded by guys who think they’re all stupid..

The two would come into issues after Toy Story 2, which ultimately were resolved in 2006 when Disney purchased Pixar.

So when things like the doorbell rings, a loved one is shouting at you, or danger is around, you might miss it. Nugunga wants to help with this, with the Nuguna Neckband.

What is the Nuguna Neckband

The Nuguna Neckband is a device that will vibrate when it hears a sound. This is a binaural neckband, so if the sound comes from the right side, it will vibrate from that area. 

The band looks like other neckband devices, but is only serving one function: to alert you of a sound. 

The neckband can be controlled via the buttons on the neckband, or through the app (which is only available for Android at the time of this article). You can change the size of vibration, length, and amount of vibrations (1 – 5 buzzes).

The app also helps dial in sensitivity, so it won’t go off for simple noises.
