Sony makes some big plays by announcing its acquisition of Bungie, the former developers of Xbox-exclusive Halo. Meanwhile, Cloud Imperium Games has decided to scale back its Star Citizen road map projections, angering fans who have supported the game with their time (and money). There's also some talk of tower defense games, including the recently launched Rogue Tower, as well as the now-released parkour simulator Dying Light 2.
