“UV C technology can remove all harmful organisms from our home environment.”

And CEO Hrio Suzuki says there are safeguards to prevent exposure to eyes and skin…

“There are two sensors in each of our vacuums where if it doesn’t detect a surface, it will shut it off.”

“It’s an app.  So you can download it on your iPhone or iPad, you can download it on your Android phones or tablets.”

It’s also on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV…and there’s also a new TVision streaming Hub…which features a well designed remote.  There are packages ranging from 10 dollars a month for a group of entertainment channels…to the 60 dollar TVision Live Zone.  CBS is missing from the line up…but is available via the CBS All Access app for an additional charge.  The service includes 100 hours of cloud recording…and upper end subscribers receive Apple TV plus for free for a year. “So we’re looking at 189 billion dollars in spend this holiday season.  And that’s about two years worth of online retail growth compressed into one season.  And what we’re looking at closely is how consumers look to spend when they can’t travel and put some of their disposable income towards activities such as that.  We’re thinking through how people are looking to get gifts and send them to relatives and friends."

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.  It’s the kind of toy that some parents will buy for their kids…to revive some of their own childhood memories.  No…not Legos or Lincoln Logs…..think virtual pets.  Bandai is out with Tamagotchi on Wonder Garden.  24 years after the Tamagotchi line first arrived…this latest edition has lots of familiar game play…and some new fun too.  Bandai’s  senior director of brand strategy Tara Badie…says kids actually can learn responsibility, and about the popularity in an age when many kids also play with phones and tablets …

“The kids today might have a mobile device that they can play on, but usually it’s shared.  Not a lot of kids have their own devices.  This is something they can actually own and take care of.”
