  • Gadgets to make driving safer- Smart Additions

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. Gadgets to keep you safer in your car. A company called Smart Additions has some clever solutions designed for safety. The ADDVISOR is a sun visor that works along with the one built into your vehicle…that allows you to block glare from the front and the side and features a polarized option extension. That is the ADDVISOR Plus. Worthwhile to avoid glare safety problems any time of year…but maybe especially during the winter months. Pricing stars at 60 dollars. Smart Additions also makes the Lounge-It Car Phone Holder that can keep your phone map and navigation in view under your rearview mirror….or can work by attaching to your car vent. We also like their Visigrip Sunglasses Holder. Find more at TheAdvisor.com.

  • Reolink TrackFlex Floodlight Wi-Fi packed with innovation

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. The latest innovation in security cameras from Reolink has arrived. The TrackFlex Floodlight Wi-Fi is packed with innovation. It is a pan, tilt and zoom floodlight camera featuring local AI video search. That means it is designed to help you search for and quickly find the clips you are looking for. You should know the camera does need to be plugged in. It comes with a mounting plate, USB C cable and mounting screws. The 4K image quality is superb….and there are dual lenses…one wide angle and one that tracks movement. The floodlights put out three thousand lumens….really bright. But that can be adjusted as needed. There is no subscription necessary here…videos are stored on a MicroSD card….on network storage or a Reolink Home Hub.

  • Open AI's CMO used AI to assist in personal health battle

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. The Chief Marketing Officer at OpenAI, Kate Rouch, has some good reasons for being passionate about the company pushing ChatGPT further into healthcare. And those reasons are personal…the mom of 2, with a new, high pressure job, was faced with a breast cancer diagnosis..

“I found myself kinds of thrust into a pretty overwhelming situation of trying to understand various treatment options. Working with incredible doctors. But I really relied on ChatGPT to help me at so many steps of the process.”

From what questions to ask of her doctors…to fighting insurance claim denials. Rouch says she has recovered, thankfully. There is a wait list for the latest free tools at ChatGPT.com/health.

  • More people turning to AI for health and wellness

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. With the gradual roll out of ChatGPT Health bringing together data from medical records and health and fitness apps ….it is free by the way… OpenAI is also expanding OpenAI for healthcare used by a variety of health care systems, including Sloan Kettering. Chief Marketing Officer Kate Rouch says 40 million people, meanwhile, ask ChatGPT health and wellness related questions every day..

“What are the best questions for me to ask my doctor about these lab results. The second is insurance and paperwork. So why did my insurance deny this. Help me write a letter to overturn this claim. And then the third is everyday health and wellness.”

And Kate Rouch has learned first hand how valuable AI can be in healthcare. More on that coming up.
