So the first point of analysis I will be covering today is about concentric models. also known as the Burgess model or the CCD model, is one of the earliest models to explain urban social structures. This model was proposed by sociologists E. W. Burgess in the 1920’s.This is very important because it displays a typical city considering that the center of a land or city is the best because it has high settlements compared to other locations in the state. His model was based of Chicago. The zones go from middle to the outermost later of the Circle. From CBD TO ZONE OF TRANSITION TO WORKING CLASS ZONE TO RESIDENTIAL ZONE TILL COMMUTER ZONE.
Another point I will be covering is the difference in American and European cities. Primarily, Europe has way more history since it is older and practically founded United States. Modern commerce and high rise buildings are more common in Suburbs. International immigration allows diversity ethically in suburbs. They are more rank rule size since one city is very populous but the people are spread out and slowly reduce the further away they are from the main city in Europe such as London. Also, majority of the historical monuments are the center of the city rather than personal infrastructure in US or religious monuments like in Middle Eastern Cities.
I believe that the urban model will alter as more of the population settles in the urban location and more of the world gets urbanized. I also believe that middle eastern and Islamic cities infrastructure and strongly based of the most populous religion there Islam. This is because they are heavily religious and the center is typically a mosque and they also tend to be the grand sight in every city compared to other things. Almost all the roads connect to the mosque and lots of stores are near it.
If I were to create a book cover for chapter 19 I would draw a map with locations such as Africa, Europe, and South Asia to be drawn in accordance to the description in the chapter. I believe this would show how different locations are. In addition to that it would be easier to spot how the older counties had their praying location typically be the center of the city but gradually altered causing younger cities such as cities in America alter though!
This reminded me of the the time in APHUG where we learnt the five prime religions. This also reminded me of humanities where we learnt European cities since Europe has always been advanced from current times or during the Industrial Revolution. they are more likely to have clean simple y’all building in balance to historic buildings such as museums or preserved palaces which honor their ancestors and bring honor to their country’s strong past.
Thank you for signing in today! Make sure to tune in next week and catch up with Subi, catchphrase of the day is annexation adding land and Earth ultimately urbanizing
