The education system seems to be off the rails! How do we get back on track? If the United States is such a great country, why can't we make sustainable progress in the public school system? Should a hybrid of virtual and in-person learning be here to stay for older students? Student loans, teacher pay, parent responsibilities, engaging African-American boys, we discuss it all!

Dr. Jonathan Brice has served in several executive roles, including as a U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Education-Office of Elementary and Secondary Education in the Obama Administration. Dr. Jonathan Brice says, over the next decade, we should expect every school in America to have a hybrid learning system because many older students thrived during COVID while learning at home. However, younger students are not independent learners and need socialization to balance their development.

In the wake of the nationwide, critical teacher shortage, Dr. Brice also offered an intriguing plan to eliminate teachers' student loan debt for a good while retaining and incentivizing them into the field!

This down-home one-on-one conversation about spiritual gifts and being a light in the world with Bishop Dennis reminds us that we all have a calling and a purpose for why were are here. He speaks about his transition from the corporate business world to the cloth and becomes transparent about one of his biggest regrets. He encourages and subtly demands that we find our purpose and get busy "being." One of his signature books, Marketplace Jesus, was inspired by his spiritual journey and career path. Had he known he could "be" who God created and purposed him to be as a businessman AND a minister, he would have stayed on his corporate path. Bishop Dennis tells us that you don't need to wear a title or leave your job if you have a spiritual "calling" but that you can merge your "being" and become just as effective in your profession as you can when you serve in your local church.

After 12 publications and 35 years of pastoring, Bishop Ralph L. Dennis is The Presiding Prelate Of The Kingdom Fellowship Covenant Ministries (KFCM), Incorporated. KFCM members are established across The United States of America, South Africa, and Kenya.
