Often times, teenagers find it hard to open up to parents, this ends up frustrating parents because they are here to help but their teenagers just won't open up. Also, this leaves teenagers with a lot to deal with but no one to help them, resulting in them making bad decisions and in worse situations, ruining their lives. Charr spoke to a few teenagers to find out their reasons why they don't open up to their parents, we're hoping this will help out some families and open up communication between teens and their parents.
We will do a follow-up episode where we interview parents concerning this topic, and try to find out a solution to this problem.

Hey, hey, hey! Welcome to our very first episode of Teenage Dramas and welcome to 2020, here's hoping you've had a great start to the year. Unfortunately for us down here in Australia, the start of 2020 is not what we had envisioned with the bushfires burning uncontrollably, destroying lands and homes and killing more than a billion wildlife. We are deeply deeply saddened and sorry for the lives lost and the devastation caused by these fires.
Anyway, moving on to the show, our girl Charr is here to talk about relationships. Dating as teenagers, what it means, do we really need to be dating, do we know what we're getting ourselves into, are we ready for dating, what is required of us in relationships, boundaries, etc.
This is an introductory episode of the topic of relationships. We will have guests and experts in our future episodes to help us along the way. Hope you enjoy!!

Teenage Dramas!!
What a time to be alive! What a time to be a teenager! The age of social media has turned the world upside down and it's weighing heavily on our teenagers. The pressures of being perfect, cool, famous, and liked by everyone is mentally destroying our kids especially the ones that fail to get attention. The world we're living in now is forcing our kids to grow up fast and throwing themselves in situations they are not mentally or physically ready for.
So, what does it mean to be a teenager in 2020? Is it that the world is evolving and everything is happening as it should or the world is a little bit fast-paced for our teenagers? With everything that's happening around the world, climate change, mental health, pressures from social media, pressures from parents and school, expectations; mix that with puberty, how are teenagers coping? Teenagers, are you okay?
"Teenage Dramas" is a hub for teenagers. A talkshow for all things teenagers! Hosted by a teenager, we also have occasional teenage and adult guests for interviews, as well as experts and parents for advice, help, and guidance. The kids are completely in charge, this is their show! Parents are welcome and urged to come and participate or maybe learn a thing or two.
Our wish is to make the world a better place for our teenagers, we hope you enjoy the show!
