TEFL tutor abroad

Deadline day for my first graded assignment and a year since he passed.. Love you dad xx

Just home from dad's wake so it seems fitting to wrap this up tonight. Cheers for the company on here since he died. All the best xx

To stay or not to stay... #BeautifulTimes

He's having a fag, but he is here, honest. This week... Marking work and dealing with student complaints from 10,000 kilometres away. Sabai sabai...

Last week I decided to pack my rucksack and head back to the UK: a decision I'm annoyed at myself with for not making sooner! Anyway, today's a bad day but, it's Friday so, here's my update. In the meantime, I've a case of red to sink into. Adios.

This is the audio from our first visually-recorded interview, set to take place and be posted on YouTube each month. The broader purpose of the video series is to capture the souls of 100 beautiful people over the course of time. (plus the personal weekly updates to Spotify too)

Preparations are well underway for our first video interview - with the sexy Dan lad lined up and confirmed for next week! As well as working on the feature length podcast here, we'll also post the full interview on YouTube (please subscribe via the link I post on social media - even though there's no content yet!? Haha) Peace and love all xx

The I more I study foreign languages, the easier it becomes to teach English as one. Tonight, we celebrate a student hitting a personal milestone. I switch my wine for coffee. We take a trip to immigration. Join me, as the rain pours outside, and make yourself comfortable on my sofa #LoveLife

The England game. The racist slurs. The aftermath... (And from this side of the world, technical challenges, broken wine glasses and military checkpoints) Join me for a glass of red on this fine Friday evening.

Whilst completing my first ever Zoom class (to nearly 90 students) I realised nobody had started the written elements of my work. But sabai sabai, it's Thailand!?! This realisation, and the comparison to my friends' situations here, leads me to highlight the reason why I will never leave. Finally: This Podcast needs you (and your sexy voices!). Head to Anchor.FM and leave me a voice note to include in future. They can be about anything. They can be questions or statements, reflections or rants. Teacher, travel, covid-focused or otherwise. I don't know who, but analytics inform me I now have five regular listeners. So clear your throat, come on in and speak with me.
