In 1979, instability, violence and chaos reigned in the streets of Iran. Revolution followed and swept a new government to power—a government that was no fan of the Christian faith.

Things looked bleak for the Iranian Church. Iranian believers found themselves under increasing pressure just as Western missionaries were being kicked out of the country. Many concluded the few Christians left in the country’s “baby church” were doomed.
