This month, a mixture of fantastic new and old tracks that I hoped would work well together. Obviously you can be the judge of that, enjoy:

I do tend to use Beatport links for artists tracks, as that is generally where I buy my music, though I do also use Bandcamp where possible for music purchases as it does better support the artist. Either way, support the artist and buy their music from somewhere reputable.

So honored to have C-Lyn takeover Tektronicity on Saturo this month. Someone I've been following for many years on Soundcloud, and whom I've always held in high esteem along with Amber Long, Deanna Avra, Ani Onix and many other stellar DJ/Producers I followed from the early days of Soundcloud. As far as I'm concerned, C-Lyn has hugely reinforced my love of progressive house and the darker side of progressive techno.

Originally from outside Philadelphia, PA, USA. C-Lyn has been DJing for over 15 years, having first fallen in love with electronic music at a warehouse rave when she was a mere teenager. This passion for progressive electronic music became ingrained when she accidentally attended Twilo who were hosting the legendary Sasha and Digweed. Right there she was mesmerized and seriously hooked on the music, ultimately seeking the help of some fellow DJ friends, who immediately recognized her passion and helped her on the road to realizing her dream of DJing. She has since gone on to play guest sessions on Frisky Radio for X-Chrome, Feeling Frisky and her own residency called Symmetry on Progressive Beats Radio, which has been running for over 2 years. C-Lyn's style is a blend of dark, tech, melodic progressive and techno sounds and always endeavors to take you on a musical journey. Enjoy...

Scottish DJ, Event Manager and Promoter Robert Clarke has kindly allowed Tektronicity to host this special mix on Soundcloud, as homage to what was due to be a truly spectacular event @ 'Music Is The Answer', Dundee 21/03/20. Unfortunately due to restrictions, the sell-out event that included Dave Seaman, Steve Parry, Paul Montague, Brent Lawson, Paul Nolan, Pete Bidwell and Robert had to be pulled.

Fear not however, a new date has been scheduled and due to be announced very soon, so check in @ https://www.facebook.com/musicistheanswerworld/ for news of new dates and other future events, including a special livestream on 17/04/20!

While this mix may have proved somewhat bittersweet in its creation, there is no doubt that Robert has poured his heart and soul into creating such a wonderfully immersive, progressive journey. Enjoy...

While Tektronicity has moved to www.saturosounds.com in recent months, that's not to say Tektronicity on Soundcloud has disappeared entirely! Not at all, in fact this episode from Simon White/aka BAYLEE, is just a sublime melodic journey from start to finish! BAYLEE has been DJ'ing for 25 years, having started at the age of 16. Spending his formative years travelling around the country to illegal raves, such as Spiral party and Castlemorten to name a few, these parties influenced his passion for underground music. He states his biggest influences from the mid 90's were Sasha & John Digweed, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, though the list is endless. Favorite clubs include; Lakota, Brunel Rooms and Hippo Club in Cardiff. Simon says,

'That's what made me what I am today, I love bringing my own style of dark driving prog that reflects my passion for the music. I've DJ'd loads of free party's, also clubs like 'Crossways' @ Bridgend and 'Analogue Night' in Cardiff'.

Having taken a break for family reasons, Simon is back full tilt and determined to make up for lost time.

From a very personal point of view, I'm so honored to have BAYLEE provide this mix for Tektronicity:
