Technology moves faster and faster, and after realizing that they would have to touch more than a million elements in the network to upgrade it to the Cable DOCSIS 4.0 architecture, but only had to touch a few thousand elements to move to fiber, the decision was a 'no-brainer' and plans have been made to go GLASS end-to-end that will ultimately save 10's of millions overall.
