Batwoman has sunk to a new depths, a milestone right off the heels of getting an inexplicable third season. An all time low rated episode and this one deserved it. Corporate sponsored division is what the CW is selling, but no one is buying. This episode shames comics, superheroes and the hero it is derived from, Batman.
Batwoman is BAD and it remains the most unintentionally hilarious disaster on television, that fewer and fewer people are watching. While the ratings didn’t dive, they were down slightly. Maybe it hits it bottom? Better hope YouTubers keep covering it. That won’t stop the legacy media TV critics from lavishing it with praise, because they have too. Javicia Lesley is better than Ruby Rose, but that isn’t saying much. No one can win with this writing. Not sure if I can keep this up for 11 more weeks. We will see.
Batwoman Season 2 is on track to be as bad, if not worse, than season 1. In quality and in the ratings. Turns out the only people watching it are YouTuber’s and fifty-something-men. A monumental achievement. We have the average CW feelings in hallways and feelings in The Batcave Ruby coupled with that signature Batwoman writing who abandoned all sense of logic last season. Mix in some awful music and a car chase between a Van Down by the River and The Batmobile and we have an unintentionally hilarious delight in bad TV. Ruby Rose has left and she is replaced by Javicia Leslie, who is only a slight improvement. At least she can emote, but not well. No surprises here. Batwoman is everything we expected it to be, now let’s see how far the rating crash.
Star Trek Discovery Season 3 was a hilarious disaster that some how managed to put an expiration date Star Trek Canon while trying to move away from it. Wanting to move 930 years in the future so Kurtzman and Paradise could be ‘free’ of the established lore exemplifies why they are, and have always been, the worst people for the job. Season 3 if filled with the usual Kurtzman Trek, plot holes, contrived story telling, Michael Burnham Space Jesus amped up to 11, and something new ..crying. Lots of crying. There is someone crying in 9 out of 13 episodes. The only thing left to do is chronicle a once great franchises very slow demise. What it has become is on of the most intentionally hilarious shows this side of Batwoman. Yes, we are getting a season 4 and 5, doesn’t matter at this point. Star Trek is done under Kurtzman. It has never, and will never catch on. It’s CBS and Netflix’s money to burn.
Die Hard Space Jesus goes on adventures and succeeds. Tilly becomes captain. Sound in space! TV Commercial actors team up and have long winded conversations while they run out of oxygen. LGBTQ+ Doctor helps gender fluid ghost hologram. A Kelpian on the spectrum kills the Federation. Somehow Alex Kurtzman managed, with the help of Michelle Paradise, to make the worst season yet. A bit impressed actually.
Doctor Who’s lowest rated ‘Festive” special to date. Not even the return of Captain Jack Harkness could save this one. The only purpose this served was to show us how bad The fist female Doctor Played by Jodie Whittaker is in this role. Nothing festive about this one unless you count the not so subtle message from Chibby and the BBC within this episode patronizing and mocking fans. Truly
Doctor Who: Revolution of The Daleks New Year’s day not so Special Review LIVE The First Female Doctor Played by Jodie Whittaker returns to bore everyone.
Doctor Who’s destruction was planned from the start according to Chris Chibnall himself. Even before they cast The First female Doctor Played by Jodie Whittaker. It doesn’t stop there, the Doctor Who twitter account decided to disrespect all the past doctor’s in one short tweet. Doctor Who has hit rock bottom, and along with the BBC it is on the brink of collapse. Things have gotten so bad former companions and a former Doctor have thrown shade at the show. Yet, old Chibby seem happy to play out the farce until the bitter end. Doctor Who will be a lesson in failure showing you what happens when a franchise goes to war with the fandom. @Clownfish TV video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKxdDRbLsSw&t=423s #RIPDoctorWho
Episode 1 Exodus, Episode 2 The churn, and Episode 3 Mother. Impressive start for the best written show on Television and/or streaming and by bar the best Science Fiction show.
