/// Episode 5 Notes: BOO Day | Since T&C have the car and are out helping the Jane search, RJ and I are gonna hit up the now defunct Mendenhall Institute to shoot an episode of her ghost hunting show B.O.O. ... as well as try to see what Stanley info we can dig up there. /// Episode 4 Notes: Today was batshit. | First up, hungover as hell, we wake up to find the entire Homestead crawling with locals. Evidently, there was a fire that started in the woods near Jane's and the town is in panic mode. RJ and I stayed here to help out, Tolen and Chuck took supplies out to the firefighters. RJ and I tried to low-key pump Debbie and Miss Loretta (the owners of the Homestead) for any Stanley family information. (Note: Few bits of conflicting info.) I hope Jane is ok. Tolen and Chuck are staying at Wallace's tonight to help the search party tomorrow. /// END ///

/// Episode 3 Notes: YES, again. | This morning Jane was several hours late, so we did not get to the camper van until way after we planned. But it still was cool as shit. There wasn't much there, but there were some folios containing a few illustrations, might be from the same guy who did his last book... a few VHS tapes.. etc. Met Jane's neighbor, he said he would try to get the camper running for us. BUT that means another night at the Homestead. 2night we are making Tolen buys us all the alcohols. /// END ///

/// Episode 2 Notes: Shit. We are spending the night. | K so, we interviewed Jane. It was interesting. *We should let Jane review the full interview to let us know what she is comfortable with. BUT right as we were leaving, Jane drops the bomb on us - that I daren’t even write down for fear it will end up being bullshit - with a massive "catch" attached to it. The catch, you ask? - Yes, that's right, us spending the night. ... So, here we are. /// END ///

The following is the podcast description as written by its creators: /// TELL ME A STORY: THE “TRUE” LIFE OF JAKOB STANLEY is a documentary about the life of beloved 1980s children's author Jakob Stanley, whose collections of horror short stories and poems outsold every other children’s book for almost two decades. As his mainstream popularity waned, Stanley's work, now out of print, reached cult status among a community of die-hard horror fans. The reclusive Jakob Stanley seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth ... until a short two-line death announcement appeared in a small town Pennsylvania paper. ///END///
