Issa double feature day! Our second helping of the stage-to-screen, movies featuring a queer teen lead, is The Prom. This Broadway show turned Netflix Original follows Emma, a girl who just wants to take her girlfriend to prom. Unfortunately the homophobic PTA will stop at nothing to keep this from happening. Enter stage left, a group of theatre celebs in need of a cause to boost their public perception.

Psychedelic 70's September comes steaming right ahead with the first showing of the month: the brain melting motion picture to accompany the album of the same name, Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'. In it we follow the eponymous Pink's traumatic journey from childhood after the loss of his father in war.

Pink Floyd's The Wall is considered one of the greatest albums of all time, and the accompanying film is a wild ride that is one of the heaviest films we've covered.
