It's Streisand September! This is the month we've waited for since Meryl March, and we start with Barbara Streisand's debut film, Funny Girl. A biopic on the life of Fanny Brice, Funny Girl follows her rise to success as a comedienne in the 1920's, and her relationship with gambler Nick Arnstein.

Girl Group August resumes with Dreamgirls, starring Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, and Anika Noni Rose! Based on the stories of black artists in the 60s, Dreamgirls follows a group of young singers chasing the path to fame.
