She moved to the U.S. for Love, and truly, there’s no better reason to take that leap. Coming from a solid, loving family that gave her a deep sense of belonging, Josefina built a career centered on community and on raising children who love themselves, feel proud of who they are, and have the freedom to choose their own path. I love that about her — a freedom rooted in the strong foundation she grew up with.

In today’s season finale of Season 2, we welcome the radiant Destiny Rael. I met her in Los Angeles through a friend, and it was truly love at first sight—her charisma is magnetic. Destiny is raw, real, and deeply authentic. She takes full ownership of her past and a childhood that was far from easy. Above all, she continues to honor the memory of her brother, who passed away far too young. How do we recover from the loss of a sibling? How do we find joy in life when it feels so unfair? Destiny reminds us that we keep going—not by pretending the pain isn’t there, but by creating, moving forward, and embracing that tender mix of grief and joy that makes us fully human. Her path is uniquely hers. Rather than remain stuck in the weight of her Sicilian and Eastern European roots, she chose to rise.
