If you keep playing games with God, you will shorten your life. God will take you home early. Permanent carnality is when you turn away from God and stay controlled by your sin nature. Controlling post-salvation sinning is so important. “Be vigilant, Satan seeks to neutralize and destroy you” (1 Peter 5:8). “Do not let Satan get an advantage over you” (2 Cor 2:11). “The wisdom of this world is foolishness” (1 Cor 1:20). There’s no shortcut to being a spiritually mature Christian. Becoming the person God wants you to require daily sacrifice. You must stay filled with the Holy Spirit and consistently learn the Word of God from a well-qualified pastor. As goes your spiritual life, so goes this nation.
