Another trailer for the next episode. Six years ago I was back home, (North Carolina), I was toying with the idea of staying there this time. Until the tension between myself and an asshole coworker.

Long story short, I got fed up and got in my email bag. I was trying to avoid sounding or doing anything “niggerish”. Because last thing I wanted was to be viewed as the angry black man that white people have to watch out for. While my heart was in the right place, old habits are hard to break plus I was tipsy when I started writing the email. So by the end it was what it was. Next thing I was called in the office.

Obviously, to make sure I covered my ass and what not…and I’m petty I recorded it and posted a copy on SoundCloud in case the one in phone got missing. Or I lost or broke my phone which I used to do often back then. I thought I deleted this but I thankfully I didn’t . I like being able to look back and see how far I’ve grown.

Fun fact: the people in there later got fired after they fired me. That’s a whole other story though.

Last note. To be fair this was before I looked up the laws on recording people by the way.

Ian’s business takes are simple but solid—people just don’t like hearing them. The rest of the time, though, he’ll veer way off track.

And when it comes to supporting someone—whether they’re family, friends, or famous—you don’t ask for discounts or freebies. Business has costs, and profit isn’t optional. If you can’t afford it or don’t see the value, move on or refer someone who can. Entitlement doesn’t keep the lights on.

The plan was to go live but i ended up making a vlog instead because of technical issues. Anyway, shout out to all two of you who subscribed and have been patience as I figure out how to use all of this friggin software, haven’t tried doing this since they 2010s. Once I get better I’ll campaigning for supporters. Until then let’s pray I don’t get evicted while I’m over here pouring time into something that isn’t paying my rent at the moment.
